• FROM THE WEST. Entering Hawes on the A684 from the west (Town Head) you pass the petrol station on your right, then continue east for about 400 metres passing through the centre of Hawes (pubs to the left, shops to the right) and the road becomes one way and steers you slightly left and downhill before flattening out. After 250m going one way you have the chance to turn right (opposite the park) and loop round on yourself...do so. Almost immediately the road becomes cobbled...you will drive on cobbles for about 200m passing Hawes Club, then Cockett’s Bakers & Butchers (all on your right). 20 metres past Cockett’s Butchers / Bakery you turn sharp left off the road uphill onto The Hill (this turn is almost 270 degrees sharp back on yourself). We are the first house on the left (set back), with a fence to the left of the house, and a smaller wall to the right. Our front door is green with two planters either side of it. It’s possible you may miss the turn the first time. Simply follow the cobbles until they end, turn right at the junction and loop round again to find us as above.

• FROM THE EAST. Entering Hawes from the east on The A684; Heading gently downhill you first pass (all on the left) Hawes Cemetery, then Carr’s Billington / Auction Market, then Hawes Playpark. At this point the road flattens, becomes one way, narrows and becomes cobbled. Once you reach the cobbles.... you will drive on cobbles for about 200m passing (all on the right) Hawes Club, and then Cockett’s Bakers & Butchers. 20 metres past Cockett’s Butchers you turn sharp left off the road onto The Hill (this turn is almost 270 degrees sharp back on yourself).
